King's Cross

The only reason people would go to King’s Cross in the past was to get a train out of London, or to pick up a ‘lady of the night.’ Things couldn’t be more different now, with billions being spent on the area in recent years.

King’s Cross is now a vibrant, clean, delightful part of town – although some may say it’s lost it’s edgy character from such a huge amount of gentrification. North of King’s Cross is a new city quarter mixing the old industrial buildings with new apartments, shops and open public spaces.

There are some stunning renovations to check out – from King’s Cross and St Pancras Stations themselves to the German Gymnasium and the Granary.
