Clerkenwell

The ancient parish of Clerkenwell is one of the most historical neighbourhoods of London. The south-western part of Clerkenwell was once known as London’s “Little Italy” because of the large number of Italians living there – there are still some great Italian restaurants to try.

The area is full of hidden and surprising places, from the picturesque St John’s Square to the bustling Exmouth Market and historic Smithfields.
It’s also a design hub with more than 60 creative businesses and architects, dotted around historical pubs. It’s midway between the West End and trendy Shoreditch.

This area is full of foodie destinations, well-recognised restaurants, historical pubs, and design spots.
