CityHood's Review

Concept
A street food staple, Bao has made their debut in understated style in Soho. Though you may have to queue, you will be rewarded with dreamy pillows of Bao, flavoursome fillings and authentic Taiwanese small plates. Unlike many of its street-to-Soho counterparts, Bao’s prices are just as attractive inside, as they were out in the wild.

Food & Drink
With only nine xiao chi (small eats), three sides and six bao, at extremely lucrative prices, you can take a culinary tour around Taiwan with a good selection of dishes. Each dish has been crafted with care, seasoned to perfection and brings a smorgasbord of textures straight into your mouth.

We Love
The beautifully plated dishes, no matter how small, that look almost (almost…) too good to eat

Prix
Plates and Bao start from £3

Conseils
– Arrive before 12 if you want to skip the queues to get seated for lunch – Bao is popular, but well worth the wait.
– The menu features many local delicacies, but don’t be put off by exotic-sounding names, ask the team to describe the dishes
